With Autopilot, creating courses faster and achieving better results is easier than ever. In this article, you’ll discover a series of practical tips to help you streamline the process and easily adapt the content to your needs.
Below, we share some key recommendations to help you make the most of automatic course generation and achieve better results from the very beginning.
Prompt
Be clear and specific in your prompt
The more precise your instructions are, the more accurate the result will be. You can indicate, for example, how many sections you want or which content should be removed.
Here are some examples:
“Create a welcome course for new employees in two sections.”
“Create a course for new employees removing all information related to internal policies.”
File added
Avoid excessive fragmentation of the document
If the original document is too fragmented into very small parts, the generated course may end up with very short and underdeveloped sections. Try grouping the content into more complete blocks to achieve better results.
Autopilot automatically generates activities and exercises
Do not include tests or exercises in the document. You can add your game or exercise by selecting the categories within the index. You will then be able to edit or configure them within the final course.
Avoid adding introductions and conclusions in the document
Autopilot automatically includes these sections. If they already exist in the document, that’s fine: you will be able to review and adjust them once the course has been generated.
Use text-based files instead of images whenever possible
AI may not correctly interpret images. To achieve better results, include the content in text format whenever possible.
💡 Tip: If your document contains images with text, convert it to PDF so the AI can read it
Exercises and Games
Create subsections with content
Make sure the section includes subsections with information. This means that within the section where you include a game or exercise, you should also add subsections with the content you want to appear in those games and exercises.
Remember that this is where the information used to generate them will come from.
