With Autopilot, turning your documents into a complete e-learning course is very easy. You just need to add your prompt, a description of what you want to create, and the files you want to use.
The tool automatically analyzes the content of your prompt and your files, generating a initial structure and content of the course. This gives you a ready-made project to review, adjust, and customize as you like, saving you a lot of time in creating your courses.
Usage examples
With Autopilot, you can create all kinds of courses, regardless of the topic. With a good prompt and right materials, you can generate complete projects quickly and efficiently.
Below are some examples we’ve created with Autopilot:
-
Gamification for corporate contexts
-
Work models
-
Microlearning: processes
Settings
To get started, click "New Project" and go to the creation screen. Then, in the course generation section, select Autopilot option. This will take you through a guided flow where you can set up your project step by step.
On the main screen, you will find:
Prompt text box: Write instructions for the artificial intelligence, indicating the main idea of your course and any relevant details. Enter a prompt of up to 500 characters.
Course language: Select the language in which the entire project will be developed.
File upload: Upload the file that will serve as a reference to generate the course. Supported file formats include: PDF, DOC, PPT, TXT, or Markdown.
Once you have written a short prompt in the text box and selected the language, upload your files. Then click the “Next Step” button.
Initial Proposal
Autopilot will generate a first proposal with the course structure. This structure includes sections and subsections that you can review and adapt to your needs.
The proposal generated by the AI is a starting point: you have the final control over the content.
You will be able to delete or add sections, reorganize content, and change the category of each slide according to the type of content. The available categories are: Explain, List, Compare, Reinforce, Explore, Infographic, Exercises, Games, or Role Play.
Templates
Once the structure is defined, you can configure the design of your course template. From here, you can choose the template, select the style of AI-generated images, and define the color palette.
AI-generated images will automatically adapt to the colors selected in the template.
You can also choose not to include AI-generated images. Keep in mind that if you include them, the project generation may take a little longer, but the visual result will be much more attractive and professional.
Result
After making these adjustments, Autopilot will generate a complete project that you can edit.
Once the creation is complete, you will be able to access the project to review, edit, and customize any element: texts, sections, design, interactive resources, or activities. The course will be ready to adapt to your needs and distribute.
Tips to improve your results
To achieve the best results when generating a course with Autopilot, here are some recommendations:
Be clear and specific in the prompt
The more detailed your instructions, the closer the result will match your expectations. For example, you can specify how many sections you want or which content should be removed.
Here are some examples:
“Create a welcome course for new employees in two sections.”
“Create a course for new employees, removing all information related to internal regulations.”
Avoid over-fragmenting the document
If the original document is divided into too many small parts, the generated course will have very short sections with little content development.
Do not include tests or exercises in the document
Autopilot automatically generates activities and exercises. You can edit or configure them later within the final course.
Avoid adding introductions and conclusions in the document
Autopilot automatically generates these sections. If they already exist in the document, it’s fine: you can review and adjust them once the course is generated.
Avoid including images in the document
The AI may not interpret images correctly. Whenever possible, include content in text format.
💡 Tip: If your document contains images with text, convert it to PDF so the AI can read them.
