The Recycle Bin in isEazy Author allows you to recover deleted projects for a period of 30 days or permanently delete them before this time expires.
After 30 days, projects will be automatically and permanently deleted and can no longer be recovered.
To access it, click on the Recycle Bin button located on the right side of the header in the project list.
How to delete a project
To delete a project, go to the project you want to delete and, from the left sidebar, select the Delete option.
Next, a confirmation message will appear. Click Confirm to complete the project deletion:
Inside the recycle bin, you will find a list of all deleted projects from the selected environment, displayed similarly to the usual project list.
Just like in the project list, you can search for a specific project and sort the results to locate it easily.
You can sort projects:
By deletion date.
Alphabetically.
Each deleted project shows the remaining time until automatic deletion.
Projects scheduled for automatic deletion within the next 5 days will be highlighted for easier identification.
Additionally, each project has two options:
Restore the project.
Permanently delete it.
For both restoring and permanently deleting a project, you will need to confirm the action.
Restore a project
When selecting Restore, a window will open allowing you to choose where you want to recover the project.
By default, the original folder where the project was located before deletion will be shown, provided that folder still exists.
You can also navigate through the environment's folder tree and select any folder or subfolder where you want to restore the project.
Once the action is confirmed, the project will be available again in the selected location.
Permanently delete a project
If you select Permanently Delete, you will need to confirm the action before the project is permanently removed.
⚠️Please note that once permanently deleted, the project cannot be recovered. Projects remain in the Recycle Bin for up to 30 days from deletion.
After this period, they are automatically and permanently deleted without the possibility of restoration.
This feature is only available in the paid Professional, Business, and Enterprise plans.
