In this article we explain everything related to the Project List in more detail.
From this screen, you will be able to create your projects, organize them into folders if you have a Business license, search your work, and sort it as you prefer.
Choose the Type of Course You Want to Create
Creating projects in isEazy Author is very easy. You just need to click the New Project button.
If you want to convert a PowerPoint into an interactive course, see in this article how easy it is to import it.
Next, you will have the option to choose whether you want to create a course from scratch or using Autopilot.
Creating a course from scratch gives you full control over the design and structure of the content. You can build each part of the course at your own pace, customize every detail, and tailor the experience exactly to your pedagogical needs. It’s the ideal option if you want to fully define the organization and learning approach.
Import your PowerPoint presentation and quickly and easily turn it into an interactive project. Keep the content of your slides and enrich it with multimedia resources, activities, and interactive elements to create a much more dynamic and engaging learning experience.
Using Autopilot, on the other hand, allows you to speed up the creation process by automatically generating the initial structure and content based on the information you provide. It’s a great option if you want to save time, start from a solid base, and then focus on customizing and refining the course.
Choose Your Preferred Template
At isEazy Author, we are constantly developing style templates so you don’t have to worry about design issues.
Thus, when you choose a template, it will be associated with your project and when you add new slides, they will all follow the same style. Keep in mind that some of them will only be available for advanced licenses. In this article we explain in detail what these templates are for.
Select Your Project Colors
Once you have selected your project template, you can select the colors.
Our designers have created a series of palettes that you can use with each template. You can try until you find the color combination that best fits your course content. If you want to see in more detail how colors apply to each slide, just click on one to enlarge the content.
We also offer you the possibility to customize this template with your own colors, but remember that this palette customization option is only available in the Business and Enterprise versions.
Structure of Your Project
Once you have selected your template, you can start working on your project.
The first thing you can do is define the name of your course and the initial structure you want it to have. You can add as many sections and subsections as you want, and if you want to make changes to the order and names, you will be able to do so easily and without problems.
In this article of the guide, you can find all the information you need regarding project structure.
Slide Editing
Once you have your project structure more or less defined, you will need to start editing your content in the slide editor.
As you add slides, you will notice that they will follow the style of the template you chose at the beginning.
You can choose the slide you like best or that best fits the content you want to include at any given time. You can also choose a blank slide and customize it to your liking with interactive elements that suit your content. There are many layout options you can apply to your blank slide, categorized by the number of cells. You have options with up to 10 cells.
The isEazy editor is a WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) type, which means you will see in real time the changes you make, that is, how you fill the slides, configure interactives, etc.
As you make these changes in your project, you will see at the top of the editor that they are saved automatically so you don’t have to worry about anything.
In that same area, you will also find the Preview option, which allows you to see how your courses look on different devices and orientations.
Keep in mind that some interactives can only be viewed in this option since their full functionality cannot be reproduced in the editor.
Finally, you will also find a quick search in our support guide. If you don’t find what you’re looking for, you can contact us directly from there.
In this category of our support guide, you will find everything you need to know to get the most out of the isEazy Author slide editor.
